You saw how John Wick reacted when his poor pup was killed. Now imagine that her child is dead. This is the level of anger at which Jason Statham begins in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming action flick Wrath of Man, the actor’s fourth film with the director after Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and Revolver. Based on the 2004 French thriller Le Conveyor by Nicolas Boukhrief and initially named Cash Truck (yeah), Wrath of Man follows Statham’s H, a “mysterious and crazy-eyed new cash truck security guard” who turns out to be professional level silver — skill defense when attempting theft.
However, while his colleagues, including Josh Hartnett, might initially suspect that H is the man inside a robbery or undercover agent, it turns out his motives are more complicated. and sadder than that, because H wants to know who in Los Angeles’ criminal belly is responsible for her son’s death. In other words, Post Malone’s account is overdrawn and Jason Statham is here to recoup in Wrath of Man, which hits theaters on May 7th.

Jason Statham has Post Malone in his sights in the first trailer for Guy Ritchie’s upcoming film Wrath of Man.
The Aladdin pilot returns to his dark history thriller roots, which follows a ruthless cash truck security guard (Statham) who surprises his colleagues by stopping a deadly heist (ridden by a gang led by Post Malone) with ease.
After the incident, the guard’s crew delve deeper into their past, uncovering their sniper history with a secret motive to fight personal demons and settle a centuries-old and bloody score.
Jeffrey Donovan, Scott Eastwood and Josh Hartnett also star in the film, which was written by Ritchie and his longtime collaborators Ivan Atkinson (Aladdin) and Marn Davies (The Gentlemen). The screenplay is based on the 2004 French drama Le Convoyeur, written by Nicolas Boukhrief and Éric Besnardand.
Wrath of Man — which marks Statham’s fourth film starring Ritchie after Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and Revolver — hits theaters on May 7. Check out the first trailer for the film above, and check out some new footage below.
Jason Statham stars as a rogue cash truck security guard in Wrath of Man, director Guy Ritchie’s latest action heist film. The film hits theaters on May 7.
Based on the 2004 French thriller Le Conveyor, Wrath of Man follows the character of Statham’s security guard as he dodges a heist attempt with his colleagues, only to surprise them all with his cold and precise marksmanship. (As seen in the trailer, Post Malone is one of the potential thieves who takes a direct photo of Statham.)
As the rest of the team speculate on his background and where he comes from, it is revealed that Statham’s character lost his son in another robbery and that he has since been on a calculated mission of revenge.
Along with Statham and Post Malone, the cast of Wrath of Man includes Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Josh Hartnett, Laz Alonzo, Raúl Castillo, Deobia Oparei, Eddie Marsan and Scott Eastwood. Ritchie adapted the screenplay for The Conveyor with Ivan Atkinson and Mam Davies, and produced the film with Atkinson and Bill Block.
Wrath of Man also marks Statham and Ritchie’s fourth film together, and the first in over 15 years. The actor appeared in the director’s first two films, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels from 1998 and Snatch from 2000, as well as Revolver from 2005; they would also work together on another new film, Five Eyes.
Miramax has just released the first trailer for its latest action thriller Wrath of Man, in which Jason Statham teams up with director Guy Ritchie for an armored truck heist movie.

The film is based on the 2004 French action thriller Le Conveyor, which followed a security guard who has an ulterior motive when he takes a job with an armored truck company. The revenge-focused remake follows a mysterious man named H (Statham) who goes to work for an armored truck company that’s responsible for moving hundreds of millions of dollars around Los Angeles every week.
Josh Hartnett and Scott Eastwood co-starred alongside Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Laz Alonso, Raul Castillo, Niamh Algar and Post Malone.
This first trailer certainly sounds like a mix of Jason Statham’s revenge-driven action flicks, with the addition of Ritchie’s interest in organized crime. Set on a slowed-down version of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues,” the Wrath of Man trailer shows Statham taking down armored truck thieves with frightening precision and intensity, and seemingly scaring Post Malone’s shit. .
Just days after Collider learned Wrath of Man was hitting theaters on April 23, Miramax and distributor United Artists Releasing announced they were pushing the film back to May 7 following Black Widow’s move in July. It’s now slated for release just a week before Lionsgate unveils their horror film Spiral: From the Book of Saw starring Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson.
Miramax CEO Bill Block and Andrew Goluv produced Wrath of Man with Ivan Atkinson, who co-wrote the screenplay with Ritchie and Marn Davies. The film serves as Ritchie’s follow-up to The Gentlemen, and the director has previously teamed up with Statham and Hartnett on another film called Five Eyes.
Wrath of Man hits theaters on May 7. Check out the official Wrath of Man trailer below, because if I’ve longed for a good heist movie, you probably got it too, and this one looks like a blast.
A mysterious and wild-eyed new security guard (Jason Statham) surprises his co-workers during a heist in which he unexpectedly unleashes precision skills.
